Knuckle Boom Crane Technical Characteristics

Jun 16, 2026

A knuckle boom crane is a type of lifting equipment primarily driven by hydraulics, belonging to the category of lifting machinery.

It employs a hydraulic drive system, equipped with five sets of hydraulic cylinders to achieve multi-stage knuckle boom linkage control, including column rotation, horizontal rotation of the knuckle boom, and longitudinal movement of the telescopic boom.

It possesses continuous unrestricted rotation capability, a safe working load of not less than 10 tons, and a maximum lifting speed exceeding 10 meters per minute.

The telescopic knuckle boom structure includes one to four stages of knuckle boom components, with a double fixed pulley lifting system at the end, and enhanced stability through a reinforced base.

It supports both local and remote control modes, and equipment status information can be output in real time via serial port and Ethernet port.

Environmental adaptability includes low-temperature start-up down to -30℃ and stable operation in environments with 30% to 95% humidity.
